Lesson 4 of 6 · 6 min
Trading Patterns
A good trade is not about dealing more damage. It is about picking a moment where the maths already favours you, cooldowns, minion aggro, and the level spikes at 2, 3 and 6.
// What you will be able to do
- List the four conditions that make a trade favourable before it starts
- Use minion aggro deliberately instead of accidentally
- Recognise the level 2, 3 and 6 windows and act inside them
Most players trade reactively: the enemy steps forward, you press a button, health bars move, and afterwards you check who lost more. That is gambling. A trade should be decided before it starts, by conditions you can see on the screen, and if none of those conditions are true then the correct trade is no trade.

Everything above is the concept. Behind the gate: the situations where it applies, the mistake that costs the most, the interactive drills, and a field assignment measured against your own ranked games.
