How to play against Braum

To beat Braum in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Braum is a strong pick this patch with a 52.0% win rate across 38,941 ranked games at a 6.1% pick rate. The champions that beat Braum hardest right now are Taric, Senna, Rell: Taric wins 55.0% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Braum performs consistently across game lengths, so there is no single window to wait for, win lane on fundamentals. Playing the matchup itself: Braum must land Winter's Bite or a basic attack to start Concussive Blows. If you get marked, exit combat range before getting hit 3 more times to avoid the stun. Braum's ultimate has a long cast time, use that extra time to dodge. Walking over the frozen ground left behind will slow you, position so that you don't need to cross it. Unbreakable gives Braum extremely strong directional defense, either wait until it is down or outposition the ability. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Braum's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
