How to play against Braum

To beat Braum in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Braum is a strong pick this patch with a 52.0% win rate across 84,148 ranked games at a 5.6% pick rate. The champions that beat Braum hardest right now are Senna, Zilean, Rakan: Senna wins 53.7% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Braum scales: its win rate climbs to 51.3% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Braum must land Winter's Bite or a basic attack to start Concussive Blows. If you get marked, exit combat range before getting hit 3 more times to avoid the stun. Braum's ultimate has a long cast time, use that extra time to dodge. Walking over the frozen ground left behind will slow you, position so that you don't need to cross it. Unbreakable gives Braum extremely strong directional defense, either wait until it is down or outposition the ability. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Braum's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.

Pros have picked Braum in 1 of the last 108 recorded games (1%), winning 100% of them. See the pro build.
