How to play against Zyra
To beat Zyra in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Zyra is a balanced pick this patch with a 50.1% win rate across 6,099 ranked games at a 2.1% pick rate. The champions that beat Zyra hardest right now are
Lux,
Thresh,
Lulu: Lux wins 53.4% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Zyra is strongest early (50.3% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Zyra's seeds can be destroyed by stepping on them. If she tries to grow them as you do, dodge back at the last moment. Moving closer to Zyra can be a smart move if she places plants too far away from herself. Plants take fixed damage from attacks and effects, similar to wards. They also expire quickly on their own. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Zyra's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
