How to play against Yorick
To beat Yorick in Top on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Yorick is an off-meta pick this patch with a 48.0% win rate across 5,172 ranked games at a 2.0% pick rate. Yorick is strongest early (50.4% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: You can cast Smite on Mist Walkers and the Maiden of the Mist to damage or kill them. Try to thin out Yorick's minions before you engage him, Mist Walkers will die from a basic attack or a single target spell. You can attack Dark Procession to break the wall down. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Yorick's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
