How to play against Xayah

To beat Xayah in Bot on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Xayah is a strong pick this patch with a 51.2% win rate across 282,594 ranked games at a 4.7% pick rate. The champions that beat Xayah hardest right now are Xerath, Veigar, Brand: Xerath wins 56.6% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Xayah performs consistently across game lengths, so there is no single window to wait for, win lane on fundamentals. Playing the matchup itself: Xayah's Bladecaller will only root targets hit by 3 or more returning Feathers. Long fights in the same area with Xayah will allow her to drop a lot of Feathers. Try to stay on the move! Make sure you are ready when you go for the kill. Untargetability from Featherstorm can quickly turn an ambush in Xayah's favor. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Xayah's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
