To beat Twisted Fate in Mid on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Twisted Fate is a strong pick this patch with a 52.3% win rate across 29,837 ranked games at a 9.8% pick rate. The champions that beat Twisted Fate hardest right now are Qiyana, Zed, Lissandra: Qiyana wins 56.4% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Twisted Fate is strongest early (51.2% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Focus on dodging Wild Cards early when your champion doesn't have the hit points to afford getting hit. If you have low Health, use Destiny as an indicator to run to safety. It will give you a head start in escaping any possible ganks. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Twisted Fate's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down.
