How to play against Taric
To beat Taric in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Taric is a situational pick this patch with a 52.1% win rate across 386 ranked games at a 1.3% pick rate. Taric is strongest early (52.7% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Taric's ultimate, Cosmic Radiance, has a long delay before its effect. Try to quickly assess whether to disengage the fight or attempt to kill his allies before it goes off. Taric reduces his spell cooldowns by basic attacking enemies with Bravado. Try to kite him in teamfights and punish him for approaching the minion wave in lane. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Taric's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
