How to play against Shen
To beat Shen in Top on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Shen is a balanced pick this patch with a 52.2% win rate across 933 ranked games at a 4.8% pick rate. Shen is strongest early (55.3% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Be ready to dodge Shen's taunt and punish him if he misses. Once Shen reaches level 6, watch out for his global-range ultimate, which can turn fights quickly. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Shen's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
