Viktor,
Sylas,
Locke: Viktor wins 53.3% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Ryze scales: its win rate climbs to 47.2% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Ryze is especially dangerous to opponents that are marked with Flux. Use Realm Warp's windup time to figure out how to deal with what may be coming out of the portal. Crowd controlling Ryze during Realm Warp's windup will cancel the portal. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Ryze's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
