To beat Morgana in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Morgana is a situational pick this patch with a 49.7% win rate across 10,257 ranked games at a 3.6% pick rate. The champions that beat Morgana hardest right now are
Blitzcrank,
Lux,
Karma: Blitzcrank wins 54.3% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Morgana scales: its win rate climbs to 53.2% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Tormented Shadow deals tons of damage to units missing large amounts of Health. When low on Health, be wary of Morgana's attempts to trap you within its reach. Morgana often needs to land Dark Binding to setup her other attacks. Use your minions as shields against Dark Binding. Black Shield makes Morgana immune to disabling effects, but can be broken with magic damage.
