How to play against Lux
To beat Lux in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Lux is a strong pick this patch with a 48.7% win rate across 8,478 ranked games at a 6.2% pick rate. The champions that beat Lux hardest right now are
Blitzcrank,
Nami,
Thresh: Blitzcrank wins 58.7% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Lux is strongest early (54.0% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Lux has powerful zone control abilities. Try to spread out and attack from different directions so she cannot lock down a specific area. When retreating with low health, be prepared to dodge Lux's Final Spark, a red targeting beam fires prior to the main beam, so try to move to the side if possible. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Lux's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
