How to play against Kennen
To beat Kennen in Top on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Kennen is a situational pick this patch with a 49.9% win rate across 1,366 ranked games at a 1.8% pick rate. Kennen is strongest early (46.2% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Consider playing a bit more cautiously around Kennen when you have a Mark of the Storm debuff. If he hits you with 3 Marks of the Storm, you will get stunned. Kennen is flimsy by nature - turn and attack him if he gets careless with Lightning Rush. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Kennen's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
