How to play against Karma

To beat Karma in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Karma is a balanced pick this patch with a 49.2% win rate across 218,462 ranked games at a 5.6% pick rate. The champions that beat Karma hardest right now are Blitzcrank, Thresh, Nautilus: Blitzcrank wins 54.8% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Karma is strongest early (50.7% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Karma's passive lowers her Mantra cooldown when she hits enemy champions with abilities and basic attacks. Deny her from getting free hits on you. Karma's Soulflare erupts for bonus damage in the area in which it's placed. React quickly and escape the circle to avoid taking heavy damage. Focused Resolve is a strong disengage tool. Create distance to avoid being rooted and seek to engage afterwards. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Karma's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
