How to play against Gwen
To beat Gwen in Top on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Gwen is a strong pick this patch with a 49.6% win rate across 2,781 ranked games at a 3.9% pick rate. Gwen scales: its win rate climbs to 51.1% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Gwen's Hallowed Mist shroud will only follow her once, after that it will dissipate when she leaves. Gwen must hit something to recast her Ultimate, try to evade her between casts. Gwen needs to attack a few times to set up her damage, so try to get the jump on her. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Gwen's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
