How to play against Fizz
To beat Fizz in Mid on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Fizz is a strong pick this patch with a 51.8% win rate across 4,817 ranked games at a 6.7% pick rate. Fizz is strongest early (52.3% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Fizz's attacks becomes more deadly for a few seconds after he uses his empowered attack - keep him away while his trident is glowing! Fizz is a slippery target when his abilities are not on cooldown - bait him into using them early and follow up with crowd control or hard-hitting attacks! Pick a counter from the list above, respect Fizz's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
