How to play against Bard
To beat Bard in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Bard is an off-meta pick this patch with a 45.1% win rate across 2,173 ranked games at a 2.9% pick rate. Bard scales: its win rate climbs to 48.7% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Bard's opponents can also travel through his Magical Journey doorways. You can follow him, if you think it's safe. You can crush Bard's healing shrines just by walking over them. Don't let his allies take them without a fight. Bard's ultimate, Tempered Fate, affects allies, enemies, monsters, and turrets alike. Sometimes it can be to your advantage to jump into it! Pick a counter from the list above, respect Bard's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
