Prophet of an Elder God

Illaoi and the Vessels she creates spawn Tentacles on nearby impassible terrain. Tentacles swing at spirits, Vessels, and victims of Illaoi's Harsh lesson. Tentacles deal physical damage to enemies hit, and will heal Illaoi if they damage a champion.

Against Illaoi

Killing Tentacles whenever possible will make it much easier to win a fight against Illaoi.

When your spirit gets pulled out, fight back if you can. Dealing damage to Illaoi reduces the spirit's duration.

Avoid grouping up for Leap of Faith to reduce the number of Tentacles available to Illaoi.

Ability details

Innate: Periodically, Illaoi spawns a Tentacle on the nearest terrain, if no other Tentacle is around it. Tentacles fully spawn after a 2 second delay and are untargetable in the meantime.
Tentacles are commanded to attack by Illaoi's abilities, dealing 9 – 180 (based on level) (+ 110% AD) (+ 40% AP) physical damage to all enemies struck, increased by 0;10 – 30 (based on level).
Each enemy individually reduces the slam damage by 50% for every slam they were hit by in the last 0.66 seconds, capped at 75% less damage.
Each Tentacle also heals Illaoi for 5% of her missing health if it hits at least one enemy champion.

Notes

Illaoi cannot spawn Tentacles on ally invulnerable structures [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8r_7zpD3tY] , in addition to neither her nor the Vessel being able to spawn them in Nexus Obelisk's attack range.

Tentacles are prevented from spawning on base gates.
If multiple Tentacles hit simultaneously, the received healing is calculated iteratively based on the new amount of missing health, as per this formula: (maximum healthcurrent health)(10.95n), with 'n' the number of Tentacle hits.
Because the healing is calculated iteratively, Grievous Wounds ends up slightly less effective than its nominal value, since the reduced healing leaves more missing health on each subsequent Tentacle hit.
The healing applies after omnivamp.
