How to play against Zac
To beat Zac in Top on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Zac is an off-meta pick this patch with a 51.2% win rate across 1,720 ranked games at a 0.7% pick rate. Zac scales: its win rate climbs to 51.4% past 40 minutes, so deny it farm early and force fights before it comes online. Playing the matchup itself: Zac heals from the goo that separates from him. You can crush the goo pieces by stepping on them. Kill all of Zac's bloblets when he splits apart to stop him from reforming. Silences, stuns, roots and knockups will all interrupt Zac when he is charging Elastic Slingshot. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Zac's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.
