Pyke Counters

How to play against Pyke

To beat Pyke in Support on patch 26.20, start by knowing what you are up against: Pyke is a situational pick this patch with a 49.5% win rate across 14,716 ranked games at a 5.9% pick rate. The champions that beat Pyke hardest right now are Rakan, Nami, Rell: Rakan wins 55.5% of the lane against it. Any of these is a safe counter pick. Pyke is strongest early (52.1% before 25 minutes) and falls off, so survive the early game and the matchup swings your way. Playing the matchup itself: Pyke regenerates a significant amount of damage he has taken from enemy champions, but only when you can't see him! When Pyke is hidden nearby in his Ghostwater Dive, sharks will circle underneath your feet. Try not to stand near low health allies. If Pyke executes them using Death From Below, you might be next on the list. Pick a counter from the list above, respect Pyke's power spikes, and track its cooldowns so you only commit to trades when its key abilities are down. Counter data updates automatically every patch.

Pros have picked Pyke in 1 of the last 111 recorded games (1%), winning 0% of them. See the pro build.
